Photography is, I have to say, one of the best hobbies I've picked up. Thanks to my emo-ness from yesterday, I went out around my area to take a break and chill by myself, just to process things. As I walked around my area, I started to notice things I never did before, and it was a really nice change and took my mind off things. :) I found this shack slash ex-garage that I think became a home for someone. Happy that the new owner wasn't around, I went in to snap photos, with random passerbys looking at me funny. I've learned to deal with those looks though, because the "look" I get since I got my SLR is so much more accepting compared to when I was holding my Powershot. Pfft.
The past day or so have been so liberating. I think I am ~200% better as compared to yesterday. :) I also realise that I don't need sympathy/empathy from a lot of people, just the ones that matter. And thank goodness, I received them yesterday/today! So glad that I am not going through this crap by myself, because otherwise I would've broken down a while ago! This morning, when I was in the car with my dad on the way to uni, he finally responded to my lack of employment, by saying "Aiyah don't worry, just apply for more places! Applying for jobs is like that, don't expect get the first job you see.. Just start looking for more next week, 远一点也不用紧.." It may have been the exact same thing that everyone else had said, but somehow it sounded so much more comforting, possibly because my dad is a man of few words, or maybe because I never realised how much I value the things he says when he isn't nagging. :)
Things are looking up! Hopefully I won't be taking many more emo photos. :)
Edit 8.47pm: One of the otters in the video have passed on. :( So sad, cos this has got to be one of the BEST videos ever!
